When you have received your AAdvantage® Debit Card, login to your mobile app; you'll be prompted to follow a few simple steps to activate it, this should only take a minute.
The steps you need to follow are below:
- Login to the AAdvantage® Debit Card app. You can find it on your phone's App Store.
- Once logged into the app, open the ‘Card’ section
- Press the ‘Activate card’ button
- Enter the 6 digit verification code. This is sent to your email address.
- Enter the CVC, the 3 digits on the back of your Card.
- That’s it! Your AAdvantage® Debit Card is now activated and you are ready to start earning American Airlines AAdvantage® miles.
