Roundup miles allows you to supercharge your American Airlines AAdvantage® miles balance by rounding up your transactions to the nearest 10p or 20p, and we’ll convert the difference to miles. You can either set all transactions to round to the next 10p, 20p, or turn it off.
You’ll earn 1 American Airlines AAdvantage® mile for every GBP £0.02 rounded up. E.g. With 10p Roundup, a £25.04 transaction is rounded up to £25.10, so you’ll pay an extra 6p and you earn 3 extra miles.
You can switch Roundup miles on or off at any time in the 'Miles' Section in the app.
Roundup miles uses the GBP value of each eligible transaction.
American Airlines AAdvantage® miles earned with Roundup miles will be pending for 15 days, as per our standard American Airlines AAdvantage® miles crediting policy.
It's important to note that the Roundup miles feature will only apply to transactions that end in a 1-9, meaning the maximum number of American Airlines AAdvantage® miles you can earn with Roundup miles on, is 9 per transaction.
This feature is available on both the AAdvantage® Mastercard Black Debit Card and AAdvantage® Mastercard Platinum Debit Card.
