The "Available Now" section of the AAdvantage® Debit Card app shows how much you can currently spend using your card. This takes into account your Spending Limits, pending payments (including payments that have not yet completed the direct debit collection process), pre-authorisations, refunds and, where the information is available to us, any arranged overdraft facility on your linked bank account.
The information we receive about your linked bank account, including any available overdraft, depends on what your bank shares with us through Open Banking.
Your "Available Now" balance may not always reflect the balance of your linked bank account and is only designed to show how much you're able to spend using your card.
